Sandpiper Village is a 10-acre master planning design within the Collier County Redevelopment Corridor. The master plan design had to take into account not only the specific site, but the adjacent neighborhoods in the Corridor, and how the project would create an urban infill that could answer the needs of those neighborhoods.
The project program consists of 50,000 square feet of commercial space, and 120 residential units. Connections to adjacent neighborhoods are provided by pedestrian pathways on the site, as well as interconnecting roadway systems. At key locations, public plazas or parks are positioned as pedestrian gathering points. Varying building heights and uses are spread throughout the site in a manner that provides internal variety, while creating an appropriate scale when viewed from the street.
