The Hospice House and Center is a 14,000 square-foot facility design for a local client. The exterior design of the facility is meant to integrate seamlessly with the residential neighborhoods that surround it.
To provide for adequate work spaces, something lacking in the client's existing facility, the new building features a large multipurpose room, a room for volunteers to work on various duties, and desks for each nurse on staff. Individual rooms are designed in various themes, and are adjacent to a spacious living room. The 5.8-acre site holds enough potential land to expand the facility from six bedrooms as designed, to over thirty bedrooms in the future.
